Gaining a good result in a well known restaurant like De Vrienden van Jacob is the work of the whole team. From the Executive Chef, the Chef cook, the Maître-Sommelier and the assistant Maître, to the kitchen brigade, the washing-up kitchen, the service staff and the reception. Everybody gives their contribution to the total experience of the guests.

The hostesses and hosts of De Vrienden van Jacob realize like no one else that every guest is different. It is all about the right ‘reading’ of the guest. Good listening and placing yourself in the mind of the guest are essential qualities for a good hostess or host. No matter how busy it is, we always radiate relaxation and the pleasure in our work to our guests. Our Maître gives us a free hand in communication with the guests, he knows us and he trust us. Characteristic of the team spirit of De Vrienden van Jacob is that we see one another as equals, but at the same time we work together very intensely and professionally. Seeing the satisfied guests leaving the restaurant after dinner with a possible personal thank-you for a marvellous afternoon or evening gives us an enormous satisfaction time after time.
